The project involved installing a wet-rated LED channel outside the main door to enhance safety and aesthetics. Utilizing low-voltage lighting, the challenge was to collaborate with the builder to allocate sufficient space for the lighting extrusion, ensuring the desired light distribution according to the homeowner’s preference. A specific lens was procured to fit into the extrusion, enabling precise angle-focused light display. Careful considerations were made regarding light output, distance coverage, and Kelvin temperature—balancing factors like brightness, floor illumination, and the choice between higher and lower Kelvin temperatures.
